Confelicity Candidates 2026
Lives, breathes and loves local

Welcome to our
Confelicity candidates 2026

We are currently preparing for the 2026 local elections in Southend and will be regularly updating this page as soon as our candidates are confirmed.

As you may know, due to the likely onset of devolution in 'Greater Essex' and Local Government Reorganisation, the structure of Southend Council will change to combine with Rochford and Castle Point as it stands.

Essex cancelled their elections, however, as yet no confirmation has been received that Southend will follow suit.

As such we will continue to believe that democracy and our right to vote will continue.

For the first time in a long time we have a party born and bred in Southend that is wholly committed towards the prosperity of our City – we are the Southend Party for Southend people.

We follow our unique 'Undivided Democratic' voting system that requires all Southend Confelicity members, who are in attendance of the meeting, to unanimously agree on the pledge for it to make the manifesto.  It is, therefore, impossible for any one member to dictate policy.  It means any member has the power to veto a policy.

WELCOME

The Southend Confelicity Party has started an e-petition to urge Southend Councillors do everything they can to ensure the 2026 local elections go ahead.

Essex residents were denied their right to vote after their council agreed to cancel their elections on the basis of devolution and local government reorganisation - we must not allow the same to happen to us.

Sign the council e-petition to say you believe in democracy and your right to vote.

We are looking for Southend residents to put themselves forward to represent the Confelicity Party in the 2026 local elections.  If you are passionate about our city, believe in local people running things, and feel you could make a difference, then get in touch today.
